Wade H. Hampton CPA

Wade was born in Oklahoma City, and lived in Texas and Kansas until moving to California to start high school. He received his bachelor’s degree in business economics with an accounting emphasis from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1993.

After leaving Santa Barbara, Wade worked for Moore Grider and Company in Fresno, California. He moved to the Los Angeles area in 1997 to manage the tax department for Edward White & Co. LLP in Woodland Hills, California.

Wade’s primary areas of expertise are in the tax planning, tax compliance and small business consulting areas.

Wade moved to Charlottesville in 2004 with his wife Cassie and children, Hunter and Duke to join Hampton & Everett, P.C. where he became a shareholder in 2005. He enjoys golf, fishing, traveling and watching sports in his spare time.

John R. Scaglione CPA

John was born in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and migrated to Charlottesville to play baseball for the Cavaliers and attend the University of Virginia. After graduating from UVA in 2007 John began his career in public accounting at Moore, Ellrich and Neal, PA in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida as a member of the tax and assurance services department.

Upon returning to Charlottesville, John worked for Garris and Company, PC for 6 years before joining Hampton & Everett, PC in 2015, and becoming a shareholder in 2017. John’s professional interests include tax planning and compliance for partnerships, sole-proprietorships, corporations, trusts and high net worth individuals.

John still proudly follows UVA athletics with his wife Heather and daughters Harper and Olivia. He enjoys golfing, cheering on the Miami Dolphins and spending time with family.

Andrew L. Mills CPA

Andrew was born and raised in Charlottesville, even staying in town to attend UVA to earn his undergraduate degree in environmental sciences and economics in 2001. Andrew then completed his Masters of Accountancy at Colorado State before moving to Portland, Oregon to work in the audit department for Moss Adams LLP.

In 2011, Andrew and his wife Dixie moved back to Charlottesville to be closer to family and friends. After a stint in the Charlottesville Keiter office as a senior associate doing audit and tax work, he landed at Hampton & Everett. He became a partner at H&E in January 2021. Andrew’s professional interests include individual and small business taxation, financial statement reviews and compilations, and tax planning.

He likes to spend his free time enjoying the Virginia outdoors with his wife, son, and daughter, as well as cycling, skiing and traveling.

Paige Kelliher Tax Supervisor

Paige is a native of Madison, Virginia and has lived there her entire life except for a short period in Farmville, Virginia where she received her undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from Longwood College in 1986.

Paige joined the firm in January 2021. She brings over 30 years of experience preparing, and reviewing tax returns in the Charlottesville office of R. Keith Shaner, CPA until his retirement in December 2020.

Paige and her husband Vince live in Madison with their daughter and son. They enjoy watching local sports and the “Hokies” and spending time with family and friends.

Emma Trivette Jordan Tax Supervisor

Emma is a native of Riner, Virginia and has lived in Charlottesville since 1997. She received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Virginia in 2001 and has endeavored to become a Charlottesville “local” ever since.

Emma joined the firm in 2006, as the Director of First Impressions. Since then she has been promoted to a Tax Supervisor position and assists our clients with payroll, bookkeeping and Income Tax preparation as well as orchestrating the day to day workings of the office.

Emma and her husband Cory live in Greenbrier with their daughter and son. They enjoy dining out, UVA basketball, music at the Pavilion, road trips and spending time together with their friends and family.

Anthony Montgomery Tax Associate

Andy was born and raised in Covington, Virginia, but has called Charlottesville home for the past 15 years. He graduated from VMI in 2002 with a degree in business and economics and has worked in public accounting since. He joined the Hampton & Everett team in 2017.

Andy’s professional interests include tax planning, small business taxation, financial statement review, and compilations.

Growing up in the outdoors, Andy enjoys hiking the many trails in and around Charlottesville, as well as playing rugby.

Michael B. Bischoff Office Manager

Michael Bischoff was born in Norfolk, Virginia, where he lived until he moved to Charlottesville to attend the University of Virginia. He played rugby with the U.V.A. Men’s Team for 15 years, where he forged life-long friendships.

While Mike graduated with a degree in psychology, he was led to take a position with H&E where he has discovered a love for the world of taxes. Mike is passionate about helping others, and he’s always looking for ways to make life easier for those around him. He’s a loving friend, and a dedicated family man to his wife and two sons.

Jonathan Perelman MST

Jonathan was born and raised in New Jersey and was a former partner at the NJ office of Friedman LLP (now Marcum LLP). Jonathan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his Master of Taxation at Seton Hall. His professional interests include tax and strategic planning for closely held corporations and high-net-worth individuals. Jonathan previously held Series 7, 63, and 65 Security Licenses.

Jonathan and his wife, Evelyn, moved to Glenmore in 2019. He now serves as a senior advisor at H&E. Jonathan enjoys UVA athletics, NY Giants football, fly fishing, golf, driving his convertible, and dining out with friends and family.

Latricia Y. Irvin CPA

Latricia is a Liberty University graduate who has lived most of her life in Southwest Virginia. She brings 13 years of public accounting experience and is a well-rounded professional that even has some experience with trusts, estates and non-profits. She is coming to us from Sassetti, Chicago firm, and is looking forward to getting back to her roots of working with Virginia clients in a smaller tax firm environment. Prior to Sassetti, she started her career with Albano & Associates in Marion, VA which was eventually acquired by a Tennessee based firm the Lawhorn CPA Group. Latricia was the supervisor of the Lawhorn Group Marion office before joining Sassetti. Latrica joined the Hampton & Everett team in Fall of 2023.

Latricia is very involved in her community as a member of the Rotary Club as well as holding seats on the board of several non-profits.

J. Thomas (Tommy) Everett III CPA – Retired

Tommy was born in Emporia, Virginia. He received both his undergraduate and masters degrees in accounting from the University of Virginia in 1983 and 1985, respectively, and he began his career with Price Waterhouse in Atlanta, Georgia in the tax department.

In addition to Price Waterhouse, Tommy’s previous experience includes a stint with Branch & Associates, a real estate investment advisor where he formed and ran their in-house accounting and tax department. Tommy’s professional interests are in the tax planning and preparation side, particularly real estate ventures and individuals. In 1992, he moved to Charlottesville and formed Henderson & Everett, P.C., later Hampton & Everett.

Tommy and his wife Sarah have five children, Jay, Anniken, Ashi, Mats, and Kobi. He enjoys Virginia athletics, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Obi Jordan Assistant to the Tax Supervisor

Obi joined the firm in February 2021. He was adopted by the Jordan Family from Green Dogs Unleashed and has become a valued member of the H&E team. He keeps regular office hours and is excited to show visitors one of his many chew toys.

Obi is extremely friendly and loves to enthusiastically greet our clients. Please do not hesitate to ask that he be sent to his private office if his presence makes you uncomfortable.
